Accessibility & Usability
Website 'usability' falls into two distinct areas. Firstly, ensuring that your website is accessible to people with disabilities (normally referred to as 'Accessibility'). This can range from colour blindness, to partially-sighted visitors, the blind, and many others. Considerations to take into account include colour schemes and combinations, whether your website can be navigated without the use of a mouse, making it usable within a text-only browser, as well as other portable devices.
The second area is concerned with general ease of use. How easy is it for visitors to find what they are looking for on your website? How many clicks does it take them to find the information they are looking for? Does your website guide your visitors along a desired path? Does this path lead to suitable 'calls-to-action'? Are your goals being achieved?
